Best single ticket win - £588 (January 2010)
Second best win - £112 (October 2008)
Third best win - £98 (April 2008)
Onwards and upwards!
….because you pay less than £1 a week for your £1 weekly U.K. National Lottery ticket (only slightly, but still less) and, as far as we’re aware, nobody but nobody offers you that kind of a deal on a regular weekly basis.
….because we don’t have any sign up fees or administration charges, not a one!
….because even though you’re in a syndicate, any winning ticket holder gets to keep 50% of the winnings on their ticket, thus guaranteeing that you can still win more money than you really need
….because we pay your winnings directly in to your bank account (for those of you with u.k. bank accounts that is) every time your total winnings reach £10 – for those without U.K. bank accounts, we just keep it….no we don’t, we just work out with you the best way to get your winnings back to you
….because we produce a monthly newsletter to keep you all updated about the syndicate (and we email it to those with email addresses and post a copy on our regularly updated website each month for those who don’t).
and…
…no more remembering to buy your ticket
…no more remembering to check your numbers
…no more wondering where you put your ticket
…no more queuing to collect your winnings
Weekly draws, Saturdays and Wednesdays
Lotto28 operates a series of inter-linked lottery syndicates, each with a maximum of 28 members. Any winning ticket holder keeps 50% of the winnings on their ticket. The other 27 people in that syndicate (or however many people are currently in that syndicate which could be anything from 1 to 27) will share 45% of the winnings whilst the remaining 5% is divided equally between all members of all syndicates.
You have the option of playing the Saturday draws, the Wednesday draws or both Saturdays and Wednesdays. The choice is yours.
Quarterly Re-Investment Draw
On the basis that winning ten pounds here or there is not, ultimately, what the lottery is about for most people, our members have the option of re-investing their allocated share of winnings in the purchase of additional tickets once every three months. In this way, we will build up a pool of money that will dramatically improve our odds of hitting the jackpot. Any winnings resulting from the purchase of these additional tickets is divided in the same ratio as the investment. For example, if we purchased £1000 worth of tickets and one member had contributed £100 to this total, i.e 10%, then that member would receive 10% of the winnings for that particular quarterly draw.
Any winnings from 3, 4 or 5 number lines are automatically re-invested in the following quarterly draw. Winnings resulting from our getting 5 numbers and the bonus ball or the 6 number jackpot would automatically be distributed to the contributing members. Both re-invested winnings and any payouts would be in accordance with the aforementioned ratio, i.e. in the same ratio as the initial investment.
Numbers for additional tickets purchased are randomly selected on two of the four quarterly draw dates and 'wheeled' on the other two quarterly draw dates. 'Wheeling' is the same as 'perming' for those of you old enough to remember the football pools. For those of you still in the dark, wheeling is simply choosing a large group of numbers and playing mathematical combinations of those numbers to get a specific win guarantee if some, or all, of the winning numbers are in that group.
All contributors, amounts contributed and numbers chosen will be shown online on our website preceding the draw in question and, in accordance with our unwritten Lotto28 policy, we will never select two identical lines of six numbers. An email showing all contributors and amounts contributed will also be emailed to all of our members for whom we have an email address.
If you wish to be a part of our quarterly re-investment draw, please either circle the 'yes' option on the confidential agreement or send us an email to let us know that you wish to join in. If you have need of any further clarification before committing, please let us know and we will endeavour to answer any questions that you may have.
Finally, please note that any members not wishing to participate in this scheme will continue to receive their allocated share of any Lotto28 winnings in the usual way.
